Pocket Digital Refractometer - Automotive

Download
Measure concentrations in propylene gycol, ethylene gycol, battery acid and windshield washer fluid in the field with laboratory accuracy.
As small, light and simple to use as optical refractometers, but with the precision of a digital readout. Reads samples as small as 1 ml. Sample temperature is initially displayed on the large LCD followed by the measurement results.
The sophisticated microprocessor provides automatic calibration, automatic temperature compensation and automatic shutoff (after 3 minutes). A sturdy water resistant case protects the electronics from wet environments and makes for easy clean ups. All models feature one button calibration to distilled water and indicate when the battery should be replaced (8000 readings). Comes ready to use with distilled water, transfer-pipet, AAA battery, instructions and a carrying case.
We can create digital refractometers with custom scales according to your data or requirements for a minimum order of 100 units.
Dimensions: 4⅝" × 2⅜" × 1¼" (118 × 62 × 32 mm)
Weight: 4.6 oz (130 g)
Specifications
| Unit of Measure | Range | Resolution | Accuracy |
| Propylene Glycol | 32 (-50)°F | 0.1°F | ±2.0°F |
| Ethylene Glycol | 32 (-50)°F | 0.1°F | ±2.0°F |
| Battery Acid | 1.000 to (1.500) sg | 0.001 sg | ±0.005 sg |
| *Windshield Washer Fluid | 14 (-40)°F | 0.1°F | ±2.0°F |
|
*Note: Windshield Washer Fluid is an aqueous cleaner used in a vehicle’s automated spray system. It is not glass cleaner that is applied by hand and wiped with a towel. Windshield Washer Fluid is a mixture that may contain any or all of the following: detergent, methanol, propylene glycol, and silicone polymers. The output of the refractometer is the freezing point of the windshield washer fluid. |
